tl;dr
- The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA.
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus, and AA color contrast in every theme in light and dark mode.
- Works without JavaScript and respects reduced-motion settings.
- Not independently audited. If something gets in your way, tell me.
My Goal
I want everyone to be able to use this site, however they browse. The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This statement is voluntary.
What Is in Place
- Semantic HTML, with headings and landmarks that describe the page.
- A skip link to the main content.
- Keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline.
- Text and link color contrast that meets AA in all four color themes, in both light and dark mode.
- Theme and light/dark controls, so you can pick the combination that is easiest for you to read.
- Reduced-motion settings are respected.
- The site works without JavaScript. The default theme applies and all content stays readable.
- Glossary terms in case studies open by tap, keyboard or hover, and every term is also listed in full at the end of each case study.
- Images have text alternatives, or are marked as decorative.
Limits
The site has not had an independent accessibility audit. I check color contrast against the WCAG formula and review pages in desktop and mobile browsers myself. Those checks can miss things.
Report a Problem
If something is hard to use, email josue@josue.codes or call +1 (407) 902-9897. Tell me the page and what went wrong. Details about your browser or assistive technology help, if you want to share them. I aim to reply within a few business days.
